Then it was time to come home and get back to work. I finally got all of the trim painted in the living room and dining room. Now all we need is furniture!
After a whirlwind month we were glad to get back into a routine but we are always happy to have company.
Come see us soon everyone!
After saying goodbye to that side of the family we got to do some more traveling! We were off to Chattanooga to see Gramma Sherry and Grampa Dave. And we got to meet all of their good friends, too! Sam slept right through his party and as soon as everyone left he woke up to see what was going on! We really had a good time!
The Bulldawgs were playing during the cookout so Sam got to wear his Georgia outfit from his Aunt Pam. His daddy was not very happy about this but Aunt Pam was nice enough to get Sam a Tennessee outfit too!
My grandmother turned 80! so we had a surprise party for her. (She's the one in the bottom picture!) My sister Cindy made a cake and it was very good. Everyone had a good time at the party which moved from the church building to our house for a cookout with the family.
Then we got to go swimming at our friend Michelle's house. Aubrey got tipped by the shark but she hopped right back on and showed that shark who was boss! Sam spent some time hanging out in the pool but then it was naptime for both boys!
Sam thought that Rylan's hand tasted very good! But Rylan got Sam back when he least expected it! (PS- Their shirts are sooo true!!)
Uncle Chris wanted to play at Chuck E. Cheese too so we went to the one in Memphis and invited our Germantown friends to join us! Aubrey had fun riding the bike with Nicholas. So much fun that she definitely needed nap time!
Then Uncle Chris got to meet Rylan!
We came back to Jackson and Mama Nise finally got to see her two grandsons together!
We stopped in Nashville to see our good friend Karen and her son Conner. Conner and Rylan share the same birthday just one year apart!
Then we got up really early and Beth, Aubrey, Rylan, Sam and Deanna all flew back to Nashville. Aubrey was very excited to come see PopPop and Mama Nise (can you tell?!). Sam even got to ride in his own seat!
And the Erie Zoo. Aubrey got up close and personal with the gorilla!
While we were there we went to Chuck E. Cheese...
Aubrey was such a big helper! She became very good at giving Sam his pacy and telling him to "Calm down!"
We accidently dressed our boys like us! I guess we were afraid we would forget who was who!!
Aunt Beth was very excited to meet Sam and we both had fun holding 2 boys!
Aubrey even showed Sam how to play with some of her old toys.
But the boys soon settled down and got on the same schedule. If one was eating, the other had to eat. If one was sleeping... well you get it!
Then she wasn't too sure about 2 crying babies!
