Aubrey was so excited to meet her Cousin Sam. When we got in the car at the airport she was a little confused to see 2 babies!

PopPop flew with us to meet his newest grandson and to bring Aunt Cindy back home to Jackson.

Traveling Days!

Sam took his first plane ride when he was 9 Weeks old! Deanna and Sam went to see Uncle Curtis, Aunt Beth, Cousin Aubrey and Cousin Rylan. He was such a good traveler!

Sam is 2 months (8 weeks) Old

WOW!!!! It is amazing that 8 weeks ago we began this incredible journey with SAM. When Sam realized that it had been 8 weeks he turned to Stitch in bewilderment. Of course it went by fast for Sam...He slept most of the time. Deanna and I have loved every minute of taking care of Sam and look forward to doing so...for...as long as he lets us I guess.

Here is a comparison of Sam's ONE month and TWO month photos. My how he has changed. He has outgrown all premie outfits...some newborn ones...he has outgrown the newborn diapers...and is still eating all he can.

Well, for Sam's second month here in Memphis he was blessed to have some visitors. He got to meet Aunt Becky (Chris' Aunt from Dallas)...

Renew a friendship with Kristin (Myriah's roomate and friend)...
And spend time with Auntie M. As you can see Sam is ready to watch some ball...sooo...
We went to a Memphis Redbirds baseball game. Sam's first sporting event...not including his Dad's softball games.
Even though it was hot, Sam enjoyed being with friends and family...and some guy.

When it was time for the Dallas ladies to leave Sam did not want them to go. He really enjoyed being held all weekend and having fun. He hopes they come back again and he also hopes that anyone else that want to stop in and spend some time in Memphis is welcome at his house.

Sam has his two month appointment on the 15th (of course) and then Deanna and him are off to Erie,PA for 10 days. I don't know what I am going to do without getting up in the middle of the night. Our next post will be of some great photos of Sam and Rylan together. Till then, keep cool.

Meet Dr. Sam

We made him a monkey at Build a Bear and found this outfit. Looks like he is taking a nap between cases.

Sam's first trip to Jackson

Pop Pop and Momma Nise were so excited about Sam coming to visit. Pop Pop bought a brand new grill and everything. We had fun showing Sam around and then saying hey to the church family there in Jackson.

It was great to see the Great Grandparents spending time with little Sam...well he is not so little any more. He is 6 weeks old and weighs about 7.5 lbs. He is packing it on. We love how he is growing.

Sam's First Month

Wow! This month flew by. Not only did Sam decide to come early, his cousin Rylan was born a couple of weeks early in Erie, PA. They have already seen each other via web cam but we can't wait to meet Rylan in person. Rylan weighed 6 lbs and 7 oz. Look out...Sam is going to catch up to you soon.

Sam is now a month old and is home and doing well. He was right at 4 lbs when he came home and is now well over 6 lbs. That is what happens when all you do is eat, sleep and poop. He is doing really well. Now I know these pictures can't show the full extent of his growth this month but here is one picture of the night when Sam came home...

He actually does fill it out a little better. He is getting a rather large tummy and chubby cheeks. He is not only over 6 lbs. but he has grown an inch this month too.


Sam loves looking around and I think he has learned to speak Pooh...

We continue to thank you for all the thoughts, prayers and gifts. We are trying to get Sam into all the outfits that we have been given before he grows out of them. He is doing great and we will continue to post pictures.
